Experimental video. 4 minutes. Uses the audio of a speech by brazilian President Lula, at the World Social Forum. In his speech he questions the political participation of Brazil’s youth and politicians, citing themes such as social inequity, rural reform, and corruption. A year later Lula would become Brazil’s first president who originated in the lower classes of Brazil. His first official project was a broad effort against hunger.
